Travelling To Guernsey

Travel to Guernsey is fast, inexpensive and convenient.

We at Hotel Hougue du Pommier are able to book Condor Car Ferry directly at reduced rates. Sailings from Poole, Weymouth, Portsmouth and the nearby French Coast.

You can book flights with Flybe or Aurigny online via their websites through our links section. Flight times from Gatwick, Southampton, Exeter are under an hour. Guernsey also has links with Manchester, Stansted, Birmingham and most UK airports plus European connecting routes from France, Holland and Germany.

Guernsey Airport - Directions to Hotel Hougue du Pommeir

Upon departure from the Airport, turn right onto La Rue des Landes. Follow this road for approx. 3 miles until you arrive at the coast road (L’Eree Bay Hotel will be on your left). Turn right and follow the coast road for approx. 4 miles – look out for the following on your right and you will know you have taken the correct route: Atlantic Hotel, Vazon Bay Hotel and Cobo Bay Hotel.

Shortly after the Cobo Bay Hotel, there is a filter in turn system. Turn right here into La Route de Carteret – you will notice a Nat West Bank on your right. Follow this road for approx. half a mile and you will get to a T-Junction. Turn left here and the Hotel Hougue du Pommier is approx. 100 meters on the right.

St. Peter Port Harbour - Directions to Hotel Hougue Du Pommier

Once you have left the boat follow road towards St Peter Port

You will get to a large roundabout – take second exit up to St Julians Avenue

At the first set of traffic lights (Swoffers Estate Agent on left hand side) go straight on

You will pass Elizabeth College on your right hand side

Follow this road (The Grange) and you will pass through another 2 sets of traffic lights

At the top of the Grange you will get to a filter in turn – go straight ahead

The road forks a little further past the filter – keep to the right – you will pass St Stephen’s Church on your left hand side

Keep following this road all the way to the next traffic lights and go straight on (the Grammar school will be on your right hand side)

At the next set of traffic lights you need to turn right into Rue du Friquet – you will pass a garden centre on your right hand side

Keep following this road to the filter in turn, then turn right and about 25 metres down the road turn left into Rue Charruee

Follow Rue Charruee for about 1 to 1.5 km, the road forks, follow road to the right which is Route du Hougue du Pommier

The hotel is about 30 metres on the right hand side and there is plenty of car parking at the rear of the hotel
